Nope. No remapper currently or formerly installed. Not really sure what's going on, but I don't mind it requiring a double click. Makes it less likely to activate by accident.Do you have any Bixby re-mapping app installed? That's what the update was supposed to patch, so maybe that's what's interfering or why it now takes a double tap?
I haven't installed the update yet so I can't say for certain if now it takes two presses or just one (T-Mobile, no Bixby button re-mappers).
Also using Nova after the T-Mobile software update and it's been kind of hit or miss for me. Sometimes I need a double tap, sometimes I don't.
the update requires a double tap.
I'm getting some inconsistent results here. Double tapping and single tapping the Bixby button does exactly the same thing. Also, I sometimes experience what others are reporting: once in awhile, pressing the Bixby button does nothing. In these cases, I have to swipe left from my leftmost desktop to get to Bixby. After this, Bixby is once again able to launch via the button.
Also, I don't know if this is related, but on occasion Bixby takes two or three seconds to launch. Weird, considering that all my other apps are lightning fast on this device.
Come on Samsung, you can do better.
Thanks! I couldn't figure out why it stopped opening after my AT&T update. The quick tap worked. The update makes Bixby cards appear with a QUICK TAP. Long pressing or 'normal' tap doesn't work anymore (not sure if that's meant for Voice in the future or just how it's going to be).
