I'll stick with Google..
I thought Bixby to be a lot like Google cards? If bixby was just for mainly the phone there is no way they'd dedicate this much effort into the entire deal. Bixby long term is to compete with Google on customer valued information. If bixby has to actually learn each and every one of us they have a very long road ahead. If there was a way to pre load info into bixby like you can or did do initially with Google so bixby can have information waiting on you that is actually worth sitting down and reading then sure I'd use bixby. If it's a painfully long process of learning my habits and preferred information liking over time I doubt they will gain me as a faithful customer. You can still use Google to look at your cards like normal. Bixby is for phone functions where Google is more for internet and information functions.
I downloaded it and tried to use it. It's pretty, gotta cool female voice, but is non functioning garbage IMO. I re-disabled it. Google Now/Assistant blows it away.
It's good for using phone functions with the voice recognition however I've found that it is not really good at recognizing names accurately when I tried to use to text or call someone.
Exactly my findings. How can you not understand a name based on a slightly different spelling? My wife's name is Meridith and the common is Meredith but it couldn't recognize the name to send a text.
...And of particular note is the fact that now, you can get Samsung Rewards points for using Bixby and "leveling up." Which is a pretty big deal since those rewards points add up to actual dollars.
Looks like theyve turned this in to a short term promo. According to the bixby screen, this will only be possible until September 14th.

That is one way to entice people to use it
