BK Disabler

What is everything I should disable to disable all bloatware except the s pen stuff. Just looking before a list of services. I'll be using mainly BlackBerry Apps, mozilla, Nova, f-stop, phonograph, and my own list of apps.

Are you talking about using BK Package Disabler? I usually manually disable bloatware apps in settings but was curious how many people use BK and any advantage over doing it manually that makes it worth the $2.49

Yep. It also works better for bloatware.

You'll have to determine that for your particular phone and apps.

I was actually using Bixby on my S8+ but for whatever reason it started saying 'i didn't understand that' in the middle of the night and waking me up. I disabled it immediately.

It's possible the first time but it did again about 2 minutes later before I fell back asleep. Odd that my S8+ never did that.

Update to this thread. Bought BK Disabler but not really until a month later with Note 8 to go through it more thoroughly this morning for fun. Disabled mainly the carrier bloat but I like the app because it's you're one-stop-shop to find and manage all your apps.

Keeping the bloatware installed probably not a big deal with if you look at details of each app, you'll see some have a ton of services running in the background so I figure better to reduce it in hopes of keeping phone running smooth for as long as possible.

One suggestion... When I disable the app, I also highlight it as a favorite so that I can easily go to the Favorite column to see all the apps I disabled if I need to go and re-enable an app or troubleshoot.

Some apps/app names, especially in System, don't know what they do and maybe safe to disable so figure I'll post mine and if anyone has any suggestions of useless apps that can be safely disabled please chime in.
