Black and white lines flashing on the screen

[Android Central Question]

I have a 2012 edition galaxy note 10.1. GT-N8010
When I start it up all I get is the black with white stripes screen with green android logo in the background saying Downloading and it keeps on flashing.
Any help please?

Welcome to Android Central! That sounds like a hardware problem -- the tablet might just be dying. You could bring it to a repair shop, but the cost of repair probably isn't worth it, considering how old that device is.
