Black Menu Bar

Some of my apps have that annoying menu bar across the bottom of the screen. Is there any way to get rid of that? I came from an HTC One and that had an option to long press my home button to access the menu instead. Is there any similar functionality with the Turbo?

Look for that option in settings / display for long press of the running tasks button, not the home button. It's on last year's Droids, though I'm not sure about the Turbo.

Thanks for this! The HTC didn't have a task button so that's why it was long press home.
