Black or Gold s7

Is the gold super reflective and obnoxious?? I have a black s7 but curious about the gold s7, have always had black and need a change. Wish they had come out with white for the US

There is White colour in fact it is only for the USA market. Gold is subtle and not too shiny. I would recommend Silver titanium which stands out and yet looks elegant.

I prefer black. I dunno, the gold just looks a bit flamboyant to me. The silver would be good though.

I got a gold one but not by choice. There was only 1 store that accepts trade-ins that had an S7 and all they had was gold.

Anywho, initially, I thought it was a bit ostentatious looking but it's really more of a bronze looking color. So it's not like über bling.

I put a thin translucent black/dark jelly case and now I think it's the best looking phone I've ever had. It's a moodier bronze now.

I'd prefer prefer the Silver since it looked good but not as " blingy " as the Gold and Black was too plain IMHO ?

You really should check a retail store carrying the colors and check for yourself ? Good luck !

I just like getting people's opinions to help my decision lol. I always think black is dull and I actually had the silver s7 edge and HATED it. It was like a reflective mirror that was so bothersome to me.

I checked out the gold s7 today in target and it definitely not as blingy as the silver edge was. I may go for it. Ive had a black phone for 2 years now and it just doesn't have that wow factor to me.

It's good that you want change. But I've had a gold S6 and currently own a silver S7.

Loved the Gold S6.
Love the silver S7.
But I kind of want a white or black one now. The Gold and silver are just too much. They look good don't get me wrong and I probably won't get a black one now because I can't. But still if I could go back in time I would've gotten a black or white one. Black looks so stealthy. And white is just so clean.

Having said all that, I think if you hated the silver, you won't like gold as much either. They're practically the same. The Gold in bright lighting looks a bit silver. Silver in yellow lighting looks gold.

And gold on S6 is different from that of the S7. I liked the Gold on S6 better. It was much subtle and bronzy. S7 gold is a little yellower. I don't like that.

I have the gold and use a clear case as the phone looks so good why hide it.

Well I'm still waiting to hear from the guy who posted (above) about a white S7 in the USA. I think he's misinformed
I bought the gold. Didn't want it but sure didn't want black. It's not a tacky blingy gold. It's more muted in color. I've grown
to like it. I put a clear "rose" tinted (around the edges) Spigen Ultra Hybrid case on it. It's nice without being in your face gold.
I wish the case was a matted material. Altho the phone is protected, the clear plastic finish of the case gets horrible finger prints and smudges.
Caseology makes some really nice cases for the S7. I have the gold/navy one. It's more of a sophisticated/business look.

Yay for gold! Gold sounds really nice. Good for you! Colour choices are difficult! I too spend time wondering what colour phone to get - or, what colour ANYTHING to get.

I had the S6e+ in Gold and now the S7e in Silver. I think they are close. Indoor, sometime I can't tell them apart.

I've only ever owned black phones simply because that was the only choice. I jumped at the chance to get the silver/gold colored phone for a change. I'm a an old punk rocker at heart, but damn, I'm sort Of tired Of black. Now I feel all sparkly! I too have a clear hybrid case one mine and it really is a nice change Of pace to have a happy and shiny phone!

I had the gold, but honestly the bezels were kind of blinding when trying to look at the maps and drive or navigate from the passenger seat. It's beautiful, but I found it really distracting when outside. Black bezels for me!
