Black or Silver?

I'd say go with the silver. Looks great and I really like mine! But really you can not go wrong with either one in the end.

My personal preference is the silver over the black. As it has been seen previously in this thread, this coloration (Silver/White) really highlights the design of the HTC One. The black version seems to hide the devices lines and curves. Also, I haven't had a silver phone since the Motorola Razr flip phone from the dark ages before. ha So an awesome, non-black phone was just what I was looking for. With that said, both colors look amazing. You truly can't go wrong here.

I prefer Stealth Black, but T-Mobile unsurprisingly doesn't sell the HTC One with that color, it only comes in Silver.

Go with silver. The black is pretty badass, but it will scratch off and the silver is more eye catching.

To each his own, but after thinking I wanted black, the silver is working for me (being in a retrofuturistic mode for the last little bit) and also seems to look better in alot of cases if you go that route. Not a big fan of the white around the edges, but I'm crossing my fingers for a great aluminum bumper case from Element or DevilCase. Can't go wrong with either color though.

Picked up black after playing with both Silver/Black at the store.

Black has a fingerprint magnet back.. Silver doesnt attract fingerprints at all.
Still BLACK looks way way better then Silver IMO.. and couldnt resist taking Black..

Silver i personally feel will look Dull/Kind of boring in 6-9months time.. js a personal opinion.. Go with Black..

I went for black. I love it. Thing is it is slightly greyer than the rest of the phone so the contrast is subtle yet classy. Personally I love the colour black.....all my cars so far have been black, I love a black t shirt etc

I got silver and I use the Incipio Feather black case. It fits great and shows the silver grills on the front for a two-tone look.

I was finding it hard to decide between Black and Silver as well, having heard that Black was a "finger print magnet" etc. But I went with black and I'm SO glad I did. It looks damn sexy, I'm a huge fan of 'matte' black or gray, and honestly I haven't found any issues with finger print marks - no more than any other phone - it's a non issue IMO. I've been using the black one for about 2 months now, naked (no ugly case to hide the beauty) and I am still in awe of how awesome it looks!

Also - I should note that I take care of my phones. ie I've heard some people complain about phones getting scratched by 'keys' in their pocket or bag - it truly amazes me that anyone would consider keep keys/phone in the same pocket/bag (although if you are going to do that, definitely get a case!). I carry my phone in a pocket on it's own, always without anything else there to scratch it! and when putting it down I'll put it down on something soft where possible, or carefully if on a hard surface. I'm sure over time I'll be less 'careful' with it as with past phones, as the novelty wears off

I went with the silver one, putting them both side by side the silver just stands out more and looks more premium. Black does look nice still but every phone I've ever owned since been a kid has been black lol

I just knew that if I got silver I'd always 'wonder' whether I should have got the slick STEALTH BLACK. So I'm glad with my decision on UNDERGROUND TECH WEAPON SLICK MATTE BLACK.

For anyone trying to decide, I honestly think the finger print marks are overstated. I'm looking at the back of mine now and there are none, and I haven't cleaned it. The screen on the other hand does!

I've had mine for a week now, and there's not a fingerprint on it. I work in a Power Plant so I'm around a lot of greasy stuff. I think the concern over fingerprints was blown out of proportion. Mine is black.
