I have Verizon note 3 running 4.4.2 with the nc2 kernel flashed. When I try to flash a rom, for example, biggins v6 or HD 8, it goes thru the process, says successful, but when I reboot it shoes only a black screen! What am I doing wrong?! Please help! I've posted in several forums, but no one seems to want to help!

Without having the device myself its hard to troubleshoot exactly but I'm going to guess and say the kernel may not be playing nice with the ROM.

I would try what the recommended or " pre packed " kernel is with the ROM and get it booting and working. Then you can make a working backup of your setup in your custom recovery (CWM or TWRP) and then start playing around with different kernels.

Kernels are very sensitive and if the kernel dev doesn't stay on top of the kernel verses the ROM making sure they work hand in hand with updates its easy to break the functionality. Common problem is the kernel devs are constantly updating their kernels as newer kernel sources hit and many times they can get way ahead of what the ROM will support.

Best way to attack this is start from scratch. Do a factory reset (data wipe) BUT NOT A INTERNAL SYSTEM WIPE/FORMAT of you device and flash the ROM. Get it booting and confirm its working. Then as I recommended make a full backup in recovery and then you can turn around and wipe cache/dalvik and flash your kernel then reboot. If it doesn't function well then you have narrowed it down to that particular kernel (version) not working with the version of ROM. It could be as simple as being a ROM or kernel version being off by one or two builds breaking it.
