Black semi-circle/dot on S6 edge screen?!?!

Hello,

Have somebody every encountered or seen this problem before? See the pictures of my screen below:
This semicircle has been there since I got the phone but I didn't know it wasn't supposed to be like this before my friend told me.

Is it a dead pixel or something else?

Hello, welcome to the forums! What happens if you tap on that semicircle? Does it open the multi window feature? Can you drag it around after long press?

Really nothing happens. It just stays there regardless of me being on the home menu or in some app. I cannot drag it either

Does it change positions if you rotate to landscape mode?

Nope, it stays on the same position.

Sounds like you have a bad case of dead pixel patch. So it's been like that since the first day you got it? Sounds like a manufacturer defect especially since it's that even looking semi-circle shape.

I'd contact Samsung for a warranty claim.

Hello Ali, any news? I've got exactly the same in a Moto X Force, in the right edge of the screen. I don't think they are dead pixels as the circular shape is too perfect.

Hey eduu, i got my Phone from my uncle as a gift and he has the receipt. He is also on a business trip right now so I have to wait until he is back so I can turn my phone in with the receipt. I will keep u posted!
