Blackberry BB10 is getting Android 4.2.2 support next month. Are you switching brands ?

Blackberry is on schedule to release BB10 update BB10.2. One of many new features will be updated Android Player to Jelly Bean 4.2.2. As Blackberry Z10 owner i can say first hand that android player just gets better and better. About 20% of apps installed on my phone are Android based and they all run pretty well given that it is emulation done on the top of QNX.

Blackberry versatility is pretty cool and this is almost like having two phones in one. Also it is interesting that Blackberry will have support for latest and greatest Android OS and yet many new Android phones do not get that at all right out of the box.

So is any one who is up for update etc. considering jumping ship or at least giving Blackberry a try ?

Many blackberry users are upset about bbm going multi platform but personally I feel it is right move.

Currently debating this. Have a nexus 4, and thinking of going to the Q10.

I know blackberry has their pride, but they should just release an android phone and stop some bleeding. Just try it out.
Personally i loved the looks of blackberry, but Android is just my type and everywhere to be honest. I know BlackBerry are known for their security and can probably only keep that with their own OS, but I guess its either they go well with their sales or they might have to switch OS or something to attract more consumers.
