BlackBerry to EVO3D Help Needed!

I'm new to this forum/site and have been scouring it for weeks to the point my wife claims it is my new mistress. I thought I found a thread about how to do this but I can't find it anymore. I am looking to save contacts and etc. to transfer up to Google and then to my new EVO3D when I go and pick it up for my wife and myself on Friday. I know it is simple going from Android to Android, but is there a link to a thread, wiki, FAQ on how to do this from BlackBerry to Android? I want to have this done prior to Friday so I can be up and running quickly. Thank you for your help!

Look for Google Sync and that will get your contacts into your google account

Thank you. Is there a way to sync up things like notes, docs, etc? I see there is a lot of advantages to Google.

Update: I forgot that you could just upload docs to Google Doc and share later. Wow, Sync is wonderful. It is live too. It is still syncing and I can already see my contacts on gmail. Thank you for educating this RIM to Android noob.
