Thinking of making the switch from iphone 4S 16GB.. are all of those REALLY apps that come preloaded on the phone? Aye Aye Aye....that's insane...re-learning Android might be a task and a half.

Yeah, I go in on all my android gizmos and just start disabling uneeded stuff. This stuff might be useful to some but not I.

VZW version of N3 came with quite a bit as well but it was nicely organized into folders. A Sammy folder, a VZW folder and a Google folder. With all the space and a micro card, I'll likely never need the space those apps are consuming and with a ton of RAM on the device, they aren't slowing me down by running in the background... yet.

Absolutely thrilled with this device and network. Came from a GNex on Sprint. Night and day difference!

Well, not sure how different the Verizon version is but when you go to Application Manager and click the app there should be an option to "turn off" or "disable" the app.

In Application Manager (use search, it's a lot easier than drilling down) be sure to scroll over to All tab.

On ATT there is just force stop. Not turn off.
