Bloatware Questions

Got such great help on some APN issues, thought I would ask about bloatware, too. I realize that this is more subjective:

My G850A phone is sort of weird, at least for me. I thought an unlocked phone was generic, but this phone as all kinds of ATT stuff on it. There's apps of course and the ATT logo and jingle come on every time I power up. I can live with it, if it's a fact of life. I realize that I can turn off/disable some apps and that some cannot be uninstalled. I'm always concerned that I'll remove something tied into something else and have problems. Does someone know which ATT apps that I can safely disable without problems and still have the phone function properly? Thanks for any advice/help.

I believe you can disable all of the AT&T apps and be fine. The system may not let you disable AT&T locker though.

Wow Crammpa! You really did remove/disable a lot of apps! Thanks for that info. I could never get buy without Chrome though. Actually, we mainly got cell phones for the calendar app so that we can sync or schedules to our phones, tablets, and pc. It's because we both have CRS. We would never remember our meds without our calendar event notifications.
