I'm looking for a way to block specific apps from accessing Mobile data "at all times" without turning off all data as I want other certain apps to be allowed.
These apps that can not use cellular data can use wifi data (basically prevent my daughter from overusing Mobile data).
Any suggestions?

I have Adguard in all my devices and it firewalls all apps. You can block internet access through WiFi or network separately. Great way to stop pesky apps wasting your data. Blocks ads well too... ;-)

Adguard jjst looks like it's only for browsers.
I did find Mobiwol which seems to be what I'm looking for. I'll have to get it on her phone tonight and test it out.

It blocks all apps accessing the internet in the firewall.
Let us know how you find mobiwol!

No Root Data Firewall works great for me.

It just runs in the background, and only really pops-up whenever I install a new app.

Do you have a link to the one you are talking about? Maybe I am finding the wrong one amongst potentially many named the same.

I'm going to suggest you look at 'NetGuard' instead. While Mobiwol, NoRoot, and NetGuard are all good non-root firewall apps take note that Mobiwol hasn't been updated in over two years (Feb 2015) and NoRoot over a year (Feb 2016). NetGuard however has active developer support. Online connectivity is only getting more hazardous, if you're going to rely on any kind of network utility you don't want it to be too out-of-date.

Thanks for your feedback and the links.
Netguard I can't say I like the layout. It also has ads and costs a fair chunk to upgrade.
No root seems to have the best layout, no ads and no pay. That may be why it's not dev'd much but may not need it. Don't fix what's not broken. I'll try it for a bit and if outdated dev becomes a problem I can always revisit.
