The new OTA (2.11.605.19 ?) wants to install on my Revolutionary rooted Thunderbolt running a rooted, deodexed, stock 2.11.605.09 ROM.

Will only let me defer and only for 5 days . How do I stop it from completing? I could flash a custom ROM but most of them I've tried are niche styles or haven't been updated in a while (base is still 605.5 or lower).

Eventually the Thunderbolt is suppose to get an official update to ICS and I really don't want to do any of Verizon's useless Interim updates.

Because I'm not at the 605.19 release but rooted will the OTA fail? Or will it mess my phone up?
I seem to recall renaming ocerts.zip to ocerts.bak was tried but never said if it worked . If it does where is this file located?

I DO NOT KNOW if renaming that file works but it's located in system/etc/security. On a side note, have you debloated your phone? I'm rooted and still running stock .9 but i debloated. Trying to figure out if .19 will be pushed to my phone.

redcat22 I've debloated and done lots of getting things the way I want and today at 4:59PM the OTA started to bug me about a pending update which I deferred.
I just want to stay with my "ROM" and not do this update. Anyone know a way to stop it.

If I check the "software Update" it shows

Ok so we've basically done the same thing to our phones after we rooted... And I guess it's just a matter of time before .19 is knocking on my door. If push comes to shove I'd rather dl the leak and flash .19 myself. Thanks the info.
