Blocking email images??

Is there a way to block images from showing in emails when using the Yahoo Mail app or the default mail app on the Thunderbolt? This is a setting on Yahoo mail when using a browser, in Outlook, and was available on my Blackberry but I can't find a way to do this in Android.

in mail settings, pick headers only or 5kb.

I'm looking for the opposite for Yahoo! When I open an email and select full html version it doesn't load any images.

btw - changing settings to headers only or just 5k does not work because as soon as you request the rest of the message, the images come with it.

There should be away to just block internet based images from showing in email. Spammers use this to track who opens their emails and identify IP addresses this way.

Blackberry, Outlook, and any other web based email client has this ability - not sure why it's not available on Android
