Phone ring tone
is there a way to change the phone ringtone? Have tried but it only allows the ringtones in the stock... this is a simple issue on samsung but apparently not on blu.... any recommendations?

Using the built-in File Manager app (or any other file manager), put any audio file you want to use in the Ringtones folder and it will show up in the list of available ringtones. I used an .mp3 as the default and an .ogg file as a custom ringtone for a contact and it rings both without issue. Same with the Notifications and Alarms folders to give you different choices of those sounds.

Use app called Zedge on the play store. It makes it easy to do.

How can I change the tiles in the Quick Settings panel? I don't need some of them, and would like to change their arrangement.

When I close the cover, in the window it shows the time and a notifications view and a music player control view. Can those be changed?

You won't be able to change the notification panel. They limit a lot of things can change.

Anyone now how to disable or change the lockscreen shortcuts, such as the camera? Can't find any settings for that.

I know many people had issues with this, and some people actually have custom ringtones working. I have tried and tried. I have read through all the "few" threads for this phone and the responses for the ringtone issue... Any "more" help would be appreciated.

I cannot get ringtones to set at all.. i have tried internal and external ringtone folders. No matter the source, i can find the ringtone. I have set the default and the contact, but still the blu#4 ringtone rings... I really like this phone, but i would love to have my custom ringtones... I am not used to the telephone ringtone, so I will just about miss a call ignoring that sound, lol.

Great phone and I am very happy with lolipop.

I set the default ringtone to one I dropped into the folder and it works when people call in.

I tried to set individual ring tones and that always defaults back to the ones that come with phone.

I have been trying for the last two days to change my ringtone from the factory installed to one of my mp3's with no luck. It does not work through the sound settings, nor does it work through the music app as I did with my previous Blu phone the Advance 4.0. Can you assist?

Seeing that I have not had success or as much success as others have and clearly this is a bigger issue than it should be, I contacted Blu. They were quick to respond...

"We have been made aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix. "

So, they are working on a fix that I hope comes out soon. It will probably be a wireless update like the one they released in January. Has anyone performed a restore after the wireless update? If so, can you ustilize custom ringtones?

Only way I was able to change the ringtone is by creating a new Audio Profile.

You get a cookie! Creating a new audio profile works.

What I noticed is that when you use the "Default" profile, the set ringtone option allows for you to set a specific ringtone for "sim1" and "sim2". That option is not available when you use your custom audio profile... it only allows for you to set a default ringtone for both "sim1 and sim2".

So the bug is in the software that sets the ringtone to individual sim cards.

did not work for me, witch ver do you have 2015 of 2016 (I have the 2016) and still can't use my own ringtones.
