Blue light filter bug

When I have the filter on it works perfectly in my home screen. It does not work when I open apps at all. Even when I am in the settings menu it does show that it's even turned on untill I leave the menu and go back to the home screen. Anyone else experience this issue?

Just tested and the blue light filter works on all screens and apps here.

Mine works on all screens and apps as well. Usually only use it at night.

I turned blue light filter on the day I got my note 9, and also my note 8, and have never had a problem.

Curious issue you've got

I have a schedule setup for my blue light filter and haven't had any issues. Try it in Safe Mode and see if you still have the problem. If not then you may need to do a factory reset.

Just a thought, try clearing the cache: settings, apps, system apps (3 dots top right), blue light filter, storage.

And you could also clear 'data' in that screen as well.
