Bluetooth advice sought

I've got an app, "Thrive", to control the settings on my hearing aids, both of them via Bluetooth.
Currently Bluetooth is failing to impress. Specifically the Bluetooth connection to the right HA is working but to the left is not. I will be going in to see the Audiologist next week. In the meantime is there something I should be trying to re-establish the Bluetooth connection to both HAs at the same time? I have reloaded the app and restarted the. But how do I erase the Bluetooth connection and start again?

You can't have 2 media devices connected to the phone at the same time - I don't know how the app is supposed to do that. It probably isn't, and you should have one aid with Bluetooth and the other aid without it. (There's probably a significant difference in price with and without.) Talk to your audiologist. (I wish I could help you further, but I'm still stuck with pre-Bluetooth aids, and I don't have 6 grand lying around to replace them [I need a lot of correction].)

I think the app connects to the one and it connects to the other. Could that be the likely scenario?
