Hearing Aids

Samsung S10, Android 12 with latest update.

My wife has True Hearing hearing aids that she Bluetooth connects to her S10. When she first connects both hearing aids work ok. But very shortly after connecting one of the aids drops out. This happens when she starts listening to an audio book.

The hearing aids work all day when she is not bluetooth connected. It only happens when she is bluetooth connected.

True Hearing said it is a Android problem across all phones and Android versions. They said iPhone works 100% of the time and pretty much said get an iPhone.

Any suggestions?

Are these over the counter brand hearing aids? Where did she get them? I wear hearing aids (prescription) and have never heard of True Hearing. My hearing care provider doesn't carry those, and neither does Costco.

My wife's hearing aids are not over the counter. True Hearing is a company that tests, fits and supplies hearing aids from several different manufacturers.

The brand my wife has is Signia

Her mother has the same aids but she has an iPhone and has no problem with Bluetooth connection.

TrueHearing said the brand Phonak works good with Android but they are backlogged several months so my wife went with Signia.
