I have a Samsung S6 Edge 32gb. And I drive a 2015 Civic Si.
My phone connects fine, and the music plays fine, but it does not show the song title using Spotify, google play music etc.
My old samsung s4 does with spotify and everything else.
Is there something I can do? I am sure I am still under warranty but I do not know if this counts....Its inconvenient and not "Hands free".

Android Version 5.1.1 (rogers canada)
Model: SM-G925W8

Thanks.

Huh? That's weird. I haven't heard of this specific problem. But bluetooth is notoriously unreliable. There are so many versions of the Bluetooth standard, and every company is building their own Bluetooth stack. Sometimes things just don't talk to each other well.

To try to address your problem. First I would try unpairing and repairing the phone and car.

If that doesn't work, the next thing I would do is delete ALL paired devices from your car stereo's bluetooth, and then pair only your new S6 edge. I've seen some bluetooth headsets that may allow more than one phone to pair with it, but only the first phone paired gets full functionality. If your old S4 is still saved in your cars bluetooth pairings, that could be causing the issue.

Hopefully that resolves it because if it doesn't then I'm out of ideas. Good luck!
