Bluetooth Auto-dialing when reconnected

When I initially connect my bluetooth for the day I have no problem.

I should also add I only use BT in the car while driving. I'm not one of those people who wear it like a watch all day long. So when I stop and get out of the car to go inside somewhere, I turn off my BT headset.

I do leave BT 'turned on' on the Droid however. When I go to turn my BT headset back on, my Droid auto-dials the most recent number in my Call log. I have to quickly hang up. This gets kind of frustrating, any reason why it's doing this? Any solution?

Thanks!

~Bump~!

Sorry, but it's been a few weeks with no response. This problem is becoming a regular thing. Sometimes it's hit or miss. And now it also happens when BT is turned completely off. If I go to turn it on for the day, it will sometimes re-dial last # in call log.

Hmmm. I operate as you do, and it doesn't do that with mine. Can you try a different BT device to determine if it's the device or the Droid?

I only own a BT headset, that's the only BT device I have, but I'll ask some friends if I can try theirs and report back.

I use mine with a bluetooth stereo in the car and have not had any issues with this either. The only time that it will dial is when I touch the screen accidently.
