Bluetooth connectivity in 2014 Chevy Silverado mylink

Having trouble with Bluetooth dropping out in the middle of a call. Unable to return to hands free. Also will not consistently connect to vehicle although it indicates that it is on the screen.

My dad was having the same issue, he can't remember how he fixed it. Frankly I cannot stand it when he calls me from his in truck Bluetooth. He has a GMC 2013 Florida edition.
