Bluetooth disconnecting

Sorry if this has been posted before. I have a Gear S2 connected to my phone, as well as my Chevy Mylink when I'm in my car. It seems as if every so often, the Bluetooth on my phone will disconnect from whatever it is connected to. Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know of a fix? Thanks.

Does this only happen when you're in the car with the watch on? If so, I wonder if the Bluetooth devices are competing for the connection and causing this issue.

No it will happen when I have just the watch on at home or work and it's the only thing connected.

I've been having troubles since the update in June. I tried everything Verizon asked except wiping everything off.

I got mine on July 4th, so once I started it, it came with the June patch. I really don't want to do a wipe....

I tried the wipe and it didn't help.

Does this happen with any Bluetooth device? So if you're in your car without your watch, does it also drop the MyLink connection as well?

The phone will drip connection sith the eatch by itself and with my car. I'll be at work and I will feel the vibration from both the phone and watch letting me know it has disconnected and then when it reconnects again a minute or so later.

Same here, watch, jeep and truck. Drops and comes back in a minute

The only other thing I can think of would be to reinstall the firmware using Samsung Smart Switch. I think this wipes the phone, so you'd have to backup or sync your data first. If the problem persists after a firmware reinstallation, then it's probably either an inherent bug in the firmware or the hardware. You may just want to contact Samsung for warranty repair/replacement.

I have the same problem with the Samsung Note 4 and the Samsunge S7. Bluetooth frequently disconnects from any bluetooth connected.
I have found no permanent solution but every so often I have to unpair all devices and wipe the cache partition, sometimes twice. Then all is normal for a few weeks until the problem returns.
Pretty sad that Google and Samsung refuse to address this issue that many people have.

Hi everyone. I'm having a similar issue. I have the gear S2,, as well as my Jabra headset and Garmin vivosmart connected all at once. The watch will disconnect when I get a few feet away from my phone and I have to manually reconnect it most times. My Jabra will disconnect and instantly reconnect randomly. The garmin doesn't need a constant connection so that's fine. I'm eagerly waiting for a fix.

I found the Tile App I have installed had a setting to "Auto repair connection issues (may restart Bluetooth)". Once I disabled that my Bluetooth disconnections stopped.
