Bluetooth Fail

Bluetooth turns itself off randomly. A real pain when using my watch for notifications and my August smart lock.

Anyone have the issue or have any idea how to fix it?

I have the issue on one phone, but perhaps not on my other. I'm therefore also interested.

Which OS build are you using? I'm on NMJ32F and have not seen that issue.

Should be very similar, but that build appears to be more recent. Some bluetooth issues were also noted for the Oreo Beta. You could test the watch with another device first. If it's not the watch, try resetting network connections on the phone and re-pair it with the watch to see if that helps.

nope. not the watch issue. I have same problem. I use smartwatch and my phone in my car. I start sometimes dial somebody and it just turns Bluetooth out itself

I have this happen also. However, it is not just with this phone. I also had random shut offs with my previous phone, an HTC. Both are running Android Nougat, I'm thinking there may be something in there causing it.

You know what fixed it? Switching back to my S8. I despise Samsung's bloat but it works and I'm not sitting around waiting for fixes or accessories that may never come.

OK, well happy bloating then, Lol. I would have tried a warranty replacement at least, but good luck.

It's a Nougat problem and not only related to this phone....
