I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910G and I've just upgraded it from Android 4.4.4 to 5.0.1. It has since stopped working with my Alpine INE-W957 headunit and I've also tried it on another car (Mercedes GL55 stock head unit) and it had the same problem.
The problem is I can receive calls through bluetooth, but I cannot make the calls over bluetooth using the headunits buttons as I used to do when I was on Android 4.4.4. If however someone rings me or if I have the phone in bluetooth discovery mode then I can use the headunit to call out. This is annoying however as I need to put the phone into discovery mode before setting off. I can also start the call from the phone and carry out the conversation through the headunits bluetooth.
I've tried a factory reset, same problem. What else can I try?
