Bluetooth has no sound

I have Bluetooth earbuds, don't quite know what type they are. My phone is a Google Pixel 2 and the problem is that I have connected the earbuds and have turned the volume up and down but I can't hear anything. I also don't hear the voice saying connected, either. I've used them more than once too.

I have a few pairs of BT earbuds and headphones. They all have a way to manually reset when there's a connection issue.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the earbuds, and make sure Media Audio is turned on there.

Unfortunately this didn't work, I reset them and still nothing.
