Bluetooth icon constantly showing on display bar?

In the last two days the bluetooth icon has been showing on my notification bar--it is definitely not on(or set up)- I have force stopped, cleared cache, etc--I also took out the battery to restart and still it shows up? Is this the first sign of Triumph Alzheimers? I know this seems petty but when you pay $300 (less the 10% best buy coupon ) this issue should not be happening. Any words of advice are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
