Bluetooth in vehicle question

When you have your phone connected by Bluetooth to your vehicle, is there a way to get your vehicle to not announce when you get messages I have a bunch of settings in my charger and I don't see a way to do that.

What's interesting is when I have it connected with Android auto with the USB cord I don't have the annoying notifications by voice but with just Bluetooth connected I keep hearing the voice and I have to cancel her out

Yes it should be in your connected devices in Bluetooth settings i.e Linked media, Contacts,Volume,Phone and any other permissions. If you just keep the media option accepted not phone or contacts that should fix your problem.

That works fantastic by the way thank you very much that was very irritated having to hear them announce the phone number and all that stuff over and over again
