Just to add that this is happening again with the update to Android 10, but switching from AVRCP 1.4 to 1.3 seems to fix it (or at least it did in my case with the Google Pixel 2 and Jabra Elite 65t headphones).

Same also, it'll switch but then I'll go back and it's switched back. Frustrating. Then also the Bluetooth is my MP3 player FM etc and it will change my eq settings bass, mid, high each time I turn car off and have to redo each time I use. Seems mostly if I start with YouTube. If I start car playing Pandora it may not do it? Crazy.

Always have had an issue with connecting my Pixel3 to my 2015 Porsche Macan via bluetooth. The only way I can stop it disconnecting then connecting in a constant unending loop, is to initiate the pairing from the phone rather than using the Porsche PSM system to initiate the pairing. This is a very simple fix, but can be frustrating until you know the solution. Hope this helps someone out there.
