Bluetooth issues

Has anyone else had an issue with people not being able to understand you when you're using Bluetooth? I haven't used it with a headset yet, but in my car I've had probably 4 people tell me it's very choppy. I'm just wondering if I should exchange it for another one.
My car is a 2015 Subaru Outback. So, I doubt I need a software upgrade.
Also, when I'm streaming radio through my Bluetooth headphones the audio randomly drops out, but the music still shows that it's playing. I know it's not the headphones, because it worked fine on the previous 2 phones.

My Bluetooth headset is good. I don't have with my car.

My bluetooth is good on my Note 4 with everything I pair it with.

I just had the store order me a new one today. I hope that remedies the issue.

Apparently, the N4 isn't supported in the Outback. Very few phones are. Mostly iPhones.
