On my Honda link, is say that my phone so far is working better than my older nexus 6p did for Bluetooth connectivity. Is anyone else having problems keeping their S8 connected to the sync system in their car?
Try to sync your device away from other vehicles if possible. Because BlueTooth sterio systems are more common, other systems can easily interfere if they're close enough. Look for a pairing option on your device, then long-press your devices BlueTooth quick access button, or navigate to the BlueTooth page in your devices settings. Also make sure this your sterio is in BlueTooth/Hands free mode if it has this feature. Now, tap "Search" while your sterio is in pairing mode (also called discovery mode). Depending on your sterios name, it should be the device with a speaker or car as it's icon. Hope this helps. Is anyone else having problems keeping their S8 connected to the sync system in their car?
What precisley are you attempting to pair to your vehicle?I set it up but it won't reconnect on its own when I get back in my vehicle like my s7 diff. I was wondering if maybe there is a setting in missing?
Apologies, I should re-phrase. I assume you're pairing it for music, right? If so, what media playback app are you using? My Galaxy S8
Try pairing another BlueTooth device. If that doesn't work, you may need a new sterio. It answers my calls, reads my texts and plays music. But I use spotify for music
That's a good point. I'm honestly shocked at how good all of the features on my phone actually work compared to my nexus 6p.Try pairing another BlueTooth device. If that doesn't work, you may need a new sterio.

That would be odd. I mean as a last resort, I would try resetting all devices including your phone potentially. It would be very odd that it just stops working the very day I pair a new phone with it
Got it! I had to set my truck as a trusted device for some reason.
