Is there a way to either disable the volume or have it set to a fixed output whenever I connect to a Bluetooth device? I could do this with my ipod and Blackberry 10 device but whenever I connect my N5 it connects at whatever the volume was last set meaning I have to adjust the output when on Bluetooth and back to my normal output when disconnecting.

Most Bluetooth devices like car stereos have their own volume controls.

i have been playing around with this as well. Because it drove me nuts when ever i got into my car it would be super low. I have not found a good solution though :(

Look for the app Bluetooth Connect and Play. It let's you set a defined volume level depending on the device.
