I have an Acer Spin 713 that has seen very heavy use for 13-months. Trackpad has been less responsive and I started using a Logitech M557 Bluetooth mouse. The control for a mouse provided by ChromeOS is painfully basic. I can't set the speed of the scrolling or make pushing the wheel down move back one screen.

Two questions:
A. Is there a way to get all the functionality of the M557 in ChromeOS?
B. Is there a way to "tune up" the trackpad?

As far as I know, you can't customize the buttons on Chrome OS. Logitech does have a Chrome extension for their Unifying app (which allows you to have multiple wireless peripherals connected to one USB receiver), but unlike Windows, there are no options in that extension to customize buttons or anything like that.

You've already cleaned your trackpad, correct?
