Is there a Android app that works like BTAudio that I use to use for Windows Mobile devices that allows audio to be transmitted through a bluetooth connection? I have a after market video unit in my vehicle that I usually played my music through with all my WM devices but I have not been able to find a app for Android that does this, the phone calls feature works without issues through device but I can not connect to stream audio.... I have tried Super Mono Free application and it will connect to unit and stereo will mute playback but the audio from device does not transmit to radio.

Any Suggestions, any assistance would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Dont you love that you can search for solution for something and right after posting your brain starts to work :)? Figured out issue, under bluetooth device settings there is a option for media streaming but for some reason it didn't work, after disabling media option Super Mono Free app streamed perfectly. Strange?

I don't get it either Motorola is one of the best with Bluetooth protocols. Streaming is a given.

The unit in my vehicle is about 5 years old and I am assuming the bluetooth does not support a2dp stereo transfer and the device works perfectly so I see no reason to upgrade it just for this feature. I originally used WM devices only and I was able to do it without issues with those devices but the bluetooth stacks must be handled differently for android. Unless there is a way to trigger the a2dp on and off when needed, like I said it connected perfectly for phone features but I cant connect a audio connection to stream audio.

I too stream direct from the media player. Sometimes my Sony radio only connects the phone profile and not the Audio profile. My Storm 1 connected both or none.

My assumption is that the X only puts out the protocol info if the media is playing and BT on.

My radio has the pre-set #6 as a reconnect button, touching this after I start the media playing connects.

I used BTAudio in winmo all the time. I'd listen to slingplayer through my old *** bt headset in meetings. No one ever knew...
