Bluetooth Notifications

When I used to have my Windows phone, one feature I loved and miss the most is the ability to have texts read over my car speakers when paired. Anyone know how to do this with this phone? Thanks in advance for the help and info.

Go into Settings and then Accessibility and there is the option "Message/call voice notifications"
Turn that on and see if it what you need.

That didn't work. It announces all calls and texts whether paired with my car or not.

There's not a native function that will give you that level of hands free operation as far as I know. Have a look at this app, it may suit your needs.
