Android Central Question
I have a Note 10+ running 10, and I am trying to connect to a custom built WIN 10 home 64bit mini ITX rig I built to install in my car so I can take calls and listen to music through the vehicle stereo.
The devices pair, both devices see the other in the paired devices list with the respective name, but in the phone I cannot toggle the call connection or audio. They "switch on" but immediately switch off and say cannot connect to device.
The computer says that "the device [phone] is functioning properly" but following the steps for media player to set up to stream does not show the phone.
I am wondering if the 3 port 3.5mm audio jacks (line in, line out, mic) being set up for 5.1 audio (center/sub out, front out, rear out) has something to do with it... i know I don't have the ability to set up an aux in cable since the line in port is in use, but I'm thinking that the setup of the mic and line in ports to be speaker outs is tying up those controllers and maybe that is preventing the BT connection since maybe streaming is considered an input... I am grasping at straws here.
