OK so sorry if this is a dumb question but, when I connect my phone by Bluetooth to listen to music it isn't very loud. Is there something I'm missing? I've went thru all settings and still doesn't sound very good. I can hook to the same speaker with auxiliary cable and sounds great.

All I can say is make sure you have the volume up on the phone and volume up on the speaker or device you're listening to. Other than that you can mess with EQ if you have that.

Also you're always going to get a stronger more powerful sound using auxiliary then Bluetooth. One is a direct connection and the other isn't.

In the sound setting check if you have the Media Volume Limiter turned on or off. If it's on, then it limits the media volume while using headphones or bluetooth devices. It's designed to protect your ears.
Sound and vibration settings - press Volume - press the 3 dots on the very top right - press Media Volume Limiter.

Be aware that often you are controlling the speaker amp and phone volume separately . The phones volume is independent of the volume setting on the speaker, so make sure your speaker's volume is also turned up. If your speaker HAS NO volume controls then it is a junk speaker with a weak amp and you will have to make do or get a better speaker.
