Bluetooth question

Hi all,

I bought a 2016 Nissan Altima yesterday. Got my G6 paired & working mostly OK. I do have this question. When I press the source button in the car & it gets to bluetooth, it automatically opens my music player(Pulsar) & starts playing the last song It was playing. Is this how it is supposed to work. I want to pick what app opens & what to do with it. Like Spotify or something else. This is the first time I had bluetooth in a car. Any help would be appreciated.

You should have a setting in the music app saying auto start when connected.....

That's how my Honda works as well. Opens either YouTube or Play Music depending on which was last used on the phone. Worked the same way with my Nexus 5. There is no auto start option in the apps.
