Bluetooth randomly dropping and reconnecting during phone calls

Like the title says, I'm having this strange issue of late with my bluetooth. During a phone at random points out of no where I'll it'll lose connection during phone calls. Doesn't matter if I'm using the bluetooth system in my car or my plantronics headset. I even did a factory reset hoping that would resolve the issue somehow, but not luck. So I'm hoping one of you smart people will know something that I don't or have heard of a fix for this. Thanks in advance!
