Bluetooth recomendations

Hi All,

I am looking to get a Bluetooth headset OR speaker. Can anyone recommend one that works well with the Fasn8?

I don't have the Fascinate but I do have the Jawbone icon bluetooth and it works well with my Incredible. I have had many different bluetooth headsets and Jawbone has been the best

Course, that is for a motorcycle helmet, which may not be what you are wanting.

My Bluetooth Headset recommendation is the Motorola H390.

Stereo Bluetooth Headset suggestion: Motorola S9-HD

Bluetooth Speaker is Motorola/JBL EQ7.


Thanks, worwig, for your comment. I've been shopping for helmet bluetooth and like this better (and the price seems better) than what I've seen!

I have the Motorola H790. It is nice and small and the ear wrap around really does a good job of holding it in place. The especially nice thing about it is I have a personal cell (the Fascinate) and a work cell, and I can have both connected to the Motorola H790 at the same time. I don't have to switch from one to the other on the headset. I connect both phones and receive calls on the headset regardless of which phone. The headset also tells you whether the call is coming in on phone 1 or phone 2.

You can drive with your music on, windows down, be in noisy areas and the person on the other end will only hear you. No speaker it gets your voice from the vibrations in your jaw.

I don't like something in my ear, so I purchased the Blueant S4 speakerphone for the car. Wouldn't do without it now...just have to use Nuance if you want TRUE handsfree, and it's not great, but okay..

When we get the full version of 2.2, there should be android bluetooth voice dialer in the mix..i.e. no more nuance.

Keep in mind that VZW stores sell these and if you can get a corporate discount they apply it to accessories. I got my Jawbone for $75

No prob, but after reading the reviews it seems a lot of people were getting shipped refurb or open box models, so be on the lookout for that

I get a corp discount too but I saw it on amazon for $47.

Nuance is the program that allows you to use voice commands. It has nothing to do with bluetooth.

If you don't have bluetooth Nuance allows you to control specific function of your phone with your voice. If you have bluetooth you can control these same specific fucntions through your bluetooth headset, ear piece, etc.
