Hi. Any news regarding getting our phones patched against the new BT attack? Microsoft & Apple have already released patches. Anything from Samsung ?

According to this article, Google pushed out an update last month and Microsoft is pushing it out in the Tuesday update.

It's possible it was part of the last Verizon update we go a couple weeks ago. If not then it should be soon. Also, I am more concerned with non-LTE devices like tablets. They use BT too and since most of them are not on LTE plans, when will they be updated?

Yup. I'm still on August. Samsung had been doing ok up until now. They really did a face plant on the Blueborne vulnerability.

If you are Verizon, you got the update as part of the September update a month ago. For Verizon to have pushed out the update, Samsung had to release it to them. That means, the other carriers have it too. I don't know why Samsung hasn't updated the unlocked variants. Nor do I understand why the other carriers are not pushing the update.

Unlocked S8 using a Straight Talk Verizon SIM. Nothing yet. Unlocked seems to be at the end of the line for updates. You'd think it would be easier to put out updates for something that didn't have carrier stuff included. Oh well, it'll come at some point.

Yes. You would think. I thought that was the point of the unlocked version. I'll chalk up another reason why I'm not moving away from Verizon anytime soon.

Two of our 3 S8+ got a security update yesterday. Patch level now is October 1, 2017. Mine, kept on saying "cant connect to DM servers". Now when I check for updates it immediately says "up to date". Does not even try and check. Is this normal? Thanks

That was patched in like the September or October update.
