Bluetooth speaker has paired with one of my phones or tablets.

I have a new device & want to make a fresh pair.

I think I have turned off all the other devices.

My problem is that my speaker, although 'seen' by the new tablet it cannot connect.

How does one make the speaker disconnect without knowing which is the host?

Welcome to Android Central! Which speaker do you have? Have you looked at the manual for it? See if there's a way to forget devices on the speaker. Otherwise, make sure the speaker is forgotten on your new mobile device, and then go through the pairing process again, following the speaker's manual.
