Bluetooth speakers with NC

So I've got my Nook Color mounted on the fridge (as mentioned in this thread). I decided some Bluetooth speakers would be a nice addition. I can get the speakers to pair with the NC no problem, but the NC range is incredibly limited. I'm talking about 6 inches! If I move more than 6 inches from the speakers, the sound drops and then they disconnect. Is this a NC Bluetooth problem? I'd like to move the speakers a little further than 6 inches away from the NC. The speakers are Creative T12 Wireless speakers.

Any insight on fixing this?

The range for bluetooth is extremly limited. Getting 6" for those speakers is great. As I believe you mentioned in a previous post, you have the power cord run around to an outlet. Might I suggest you use powered speakers through the headphone jack. It does give you more cables to run but that way you are ensured of good sound. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, I was thinking about running the cables. I guess I'll have to do that tomorrow...
Bummer. I was hoping that the BT would work a little better.
