Bluetooth sync with 2011 Chevy Malibu

I'm having a problem with my text messages being read to me when the come while I'm driving and my phone is sync'd. The calls come in just fine, but nothing happens with the text messages. I had a Nokia Lumia 900 and this worked just fine. Is there something I'm missing in the settings?

Try taking a look in Settings > Accessibility and see if there is a setting for driving mode. I don't have my Skyrocket in front of me, so I couldn't tell you where else to look.
