bluetooth transfer, iphone to nexus 7?

As the ttle implies, I have both an iphone and a nexus 7. I'd like to be able to take shots on the phone, bluetooth it over to the nexus for review and editing on the bigger screen, then bluetooth back over for uploading, when I'm out and about. I can't seem to get the phone to see the nexus though. I even tried a couple of photo transfer apps on the phone but no joy. Any suggestions or advice?

Nexus go invisible after a minute or so. you have to go to blutooth seetings-->Menu-->Visibility timeout
