Android Central Question

I'm confused about setting device unlock trusted locations via bluetooth. I've paired with several devices. I understand that I also need to connect to them. But that entails sending audio to those devices. I don't want to do that. I want to use bluetooth for trusted method of unlocking phone but I want to keep the audio on the phone. I don't see a way to do that. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! You're talking about Trusted Devices, not Trusted Locations. Trusted Devices just relies on any Bluetooth device you select that's connected -- it doesn't have to send audio over anything. I use my car as my Trusted Device. I could also use my smartwatch if I wanted.

You can always go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the Bluetooth device, and turn off the Media Audio off there.
