Bluetooth trusted mode

Is there any way to set my phone to trust my car and keep it unlocked, but not have it actually connected to Blu tooth? Even if I turn it to media only, for some reason every time I hit a button, like going into settings, it stops the radio for a couple of seconds then resumes.

When you say "turn it to media only," do you mean you're going to Settings>Bluetooth, tapping the gear icon next to the car system, and unchecking Media Audio?

Which phone do you have? Trusted Devices requires a Bluetooth connection, so you're stuck with that requirement.

Is Media Audio checking itself back on, or does it stay unchecked?
