Bluetooth volume hack?

Anyone know how to hack the Note 7 in order to override the master Bluetooth volume setting? Even at max, it's still not loud enough in headphones or multimedia in the car.

I did download an app to override the Bluetooth settings, but it is loaded with advertisements and unreliable most of the time.

My phone is set up bluetooth with my car stereo and I have plenty of volume. Could you have a defective phone?
