Delete it then reconnect it. Or you can turn the bluetooth on the phone then turn the speaker on. Simple issue sir/ma'am

I had the same problem with my Logitech box, deleting the connection and readding it fixed it.

I have tried all my Samsung Galaxy Devices: S4, S3 Mini Tab2 7.0& none of them show the JBL FlIP I tick The S4 then let the blue light flash on the FLIP. There's a button with a telephone symbol on do I use that for the set up . Please any tips on how to get this working would be great thanx

Once i read how to reset the device I was able to get mine to pair.

I had it paired with my work phone and personal phone and couldn't get it to work.

Thanks!

Re: Bluetooth with JBL Flip..another answer that works

If you are having trouble pairing your Android Phone (ANY TYPE) with your JBL Bluetooth speaker, try downloading the JBL MUSIC APP from the Google Play Store. The App is free, and it has a facility that allows your Android phone to automatically "See" and pair with the JBL Speaker. This helped me to pair my BLU STUDIO ENERGY phone with my JBL Flip in no time at all. :D

I seem to be having a different problem.I have never seen ANY red light at all. I hold the power button down for 3 seconds and I get a single beep and a flashing blue with no red and I still can't see it. Help please.

I had been having the same problem but finally figured out that on my JBL Flip, I was using the wrong pairing button. I was pushing the button on top next to the power button which would then flash repeatedly making me think that this was the pairing button. There is actually a pairing button to the left of the lower volume button. As soon as I pushed that button, I went to my S5 and in settings, in bluetooth, I checked the box to make my device discoverable and the pressed scan. It showed the JBL Flip IMMEDIATELY! Hope this helps....
